Our range of Health & Social Care apprenticeship and standalone qualifications will support learners to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a variety of clinical healthcare support settings and in adult care environments. They cover a wide range of topics such as supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health and social care procedures.

Adult Care Apprenticeship Standard

This apprenticeship provides an ideal entry into and supports progression within the health and social care sector.
Learning time:
Will vary according to the level of knowledge and experience of the apprentice, but is a minimum of 366 days.
Progression: Lead Adult Care Apprenticeship Standard
Examples of job progression: Senior care worker, senior support worker

Lead Adult Care Apprenticeship Standard

This apprenticeship is for care workers that have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance and direction for others, or working autonomously, exercising judgement and accountability.
Learning time: Will vary according to the level of knowledge and experience of the apprentice, but will be a minimum of 366 days.
Progression: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care and Children and Young People’s Service Apprenticeship
Examples of job progression: Care home manager, registered manager.

Level 3 Diploma in Care (England) (RQF)

This qualification is for: learners working as leaders in adult care and is a specialist qualification for adult care.
Learning time: 580 hours
Progression: Level 5 in Higher Apprenticeship in Care Leadership in Management
Examples of job progression: assistant practitioner, officers in charge, day services manager etc.
